28th August 2011 Sunday

Woke to a nice day so decided to go for a drive and have lunch at Wollongong, and call in and see my bestie Pat at the same time....She was at Archery with her partner Glen and they were shooting in the State Championships ... Lucky for us we arrived just in time to take some impressive pictures of Pat....

We left her to finish off the comp and went into Wollongong Harbour and had a lovely lunch overlooking the harbour at the Harbour Front Restaurant...food was very yummy I had deep sea bream grilled and John had flathead...very nice

After lunch we went for a nice walk... I love this little harbour...

We called in at Mt Kiera on the way back just in time for the presentation... and both Pat and Glen won 1st place in their different events... WELL DONE !!!!

26th August 2011

Today we had a nice surprise in the late afternoon a club travelling together all rolled into the park, driving CLIPPERS all from around the 1940/50 ... Seven  in total turned up but 3 arrived after dark so I planned on taking more pictures the next day, but when we got up they were all gone !!!!! Never heard a thing !!!!!

15th August 2011 Monday

Last week John was busy at Sharon's erecting a fence to keep the dogs off her gardens.. and to keep her new German Shepard pup "Jet" from jumping the side fence that is very low...hes only 15 months old and is taking over the place already.....

 Jet looks on to make sure they do a good job !!!

Finished Job .... Well done guys !!!!

And today its Mychele turn to get the attention of my darling man and his many talents !!!

He started out with just the job of cleaning the drive way...

Once that was done ... he then moved into the back garden and did the pergola awning and paveway...

Looked like new when finished... Mychele was very pleased...

14th August 2011 Sunday Visit from the family

It was a nice day today and even better when I had a call from my son Darren, advising us they were coming to visit, with the grandchildren.... and it got even better when Sharon also rang to say she was coming over with Jenna !!!! I knew Mychele wouldn't be ringing to say she was coming as I knew she was working today....


The children had fun playing around the gardens of the park... while we caught up on all the news...

13th August 2011 "Hot August Night"

We decided to go out for dinner tonight to the Catholic Club, and the place was packed !!!! the attention was that Peter Byrnes (who I have seen several times) in his production show of "Hot August Night" with The Sydney Orchestra...we had to wait for a seat for dinner and while waiting we decided to see if they had any tickets left for the show... and lucky us they had 2 on the front row table... woohoo !!! so we had dinner and then went to the show... awesome night.... love doing things on the impulse like that...

Peter Byrnes is Irish and has been impersonating Neil Diamond for over 20 years he is so good..

12th August 2011 RV named

Well we finally got our house named today....after going through many names we came up with 

"Hi-Way Home"

30th July 2011 Ryan's 3rd Birthday Party

Ryan turned 3 on the 28th July... and he had a nice party on the 30th July at home...

It was a Super Hero's Party... every one had a great time...Here are some pictures...

Still around !!!

We are still here...because we are in Camden doesnt leave me much to write about....

I have been busy back and forth with Doctors and Hospital's for tests etc in the last few weeks...but its not something I want to report about in my blog...so hang in there.... when we finally get to the bottom of it all we will be on our way again to more advertures....
