Wednesday 19th Jan

We have a few things to sort out today...but first one was to contact the Dolly trailer man and tell him we will buy his trailer before anyone else bought it...he said he would organise for it to be registered and would be available on Thursday for pick up... so we drove down there and paid a deposit.
Now we have to sort out where to put the boxes that we carried on the trailer....and as I suggested they would fit in the boot of the car, and they did so that problem is solved...
Called in at the tyre place and the tyre has arrived, just waiting on the rim.. hopefully it will come in this afternoon as the guy is picking up the trailer tomorrow, and we want to get out of this place tomorrow too...
After lunch  we  went to visit the Bega Cheese Factory, I was disappointed as I thought we would have been able to go through the factory on a tour, but no...it was just  a building with displays, but it was good to go through and check it out.
Bega has been making high quality cheese products for Australian families for over 100 years.

Bega Cheese is a 100% Australian owned and operated cheese company located in the Bega Valley. The company was founded as a dairy co-operative in 1899, and still operates under the co-operative structure today. The owners of Bega Cheese are the 100 dairy farmers that supply milk to the factory which is then turned into there famous Bega branded cheddar cheese.

Bega Cheese’s Dairy Products Unit manufactures a total of 20,000 tonnes of bulk cheddar, whey powder and butter per Year. The Processing and Packaging Unit produces 50,000 tonnes of value-added cheese products including cheddar cheese retail packs and processed cheese products as well as individually wrapped slices and slice on slice products for food service outlets.

Bega Cheese is a truly Australian company, employing 500 staff, and operating solely in the Bega Valley. Around 20% of overall production is exported to over 50 countries around the world, and Bega is a leading supplier of cheese products into the Australian market.

So at least Bega is good for something...

The tyre etc was ready when we got back into town... so John got that job done, then we packed up the RV ready to leave tomorrow, The guy buying the trailer rang and he’s picking up the trailer at 9am in the morning...so amazing for once everything is falling into place.
