Portsea ...9th Feb

Today we went to explore whats its like further down the road towards Portsea..and Sorrento..we were actually going to check out where we had to go once we left to take the Rv on the ferry but we got distracted on the way so much to see....

Portsea is the home of the rich and famous with millionaire mansions scattered all over the cliff tops. The 3944 postcode is the nation's most affluent, with an average taxable income almost $10,000 higher than Sydneys Darling Point and Point Piper...

The Mornington Peninsula is so close to the city yet so far away its only 30min drive..

Its got over 200 wineries, 8 of Australia's top 50 golf courses are here and 14 golf clubs including championship courses such as Moonah Links host to the Australian Open.

We had a lovely drive around the country side is just amazing....

Then we moved on to see what they call the "London Bridge" its not the one at the Great Ocean Road

It was such a nice day when we got back we went to the beach...all of a minute walk...it was lovely except for the darn March Flies...

We went for a walk in the water it is so low here we walked out for miles and it was still only calf deep...

I took this while we were out in the water...to give you some idea how far we could walk out
