31st May 2011 Mychele & Steve Falls Creek

Once again Mychele was up bright and early taking pictures of the birds this time....

John and I taking Sophie for her daily walk...

After breakfast we headed off again to Falls Creek this time, once again not expecting to see any snow...

We stopped off at Mount Beauty for morning tea...then was on our way...

Once at Falls Creek we drove over to the top car park to check out the great views up there...everyone at Falls Creek was busy preparing for the opening season which is next weekend the June long weekend..

We  took them further on over the big dam and decided to follow the road all around the dam which was great....much flatter as we were right on the top of the mountain

Steve getting another planking in...just as well they are harmless ones and not silly dangerous one's

During our drive around we came across some wild brumbies

 Mummy Daddy and foal

Further on we decided to go for a walk to look at a cabin that's been built on the hills as a shelter for hikers or skiers etc, we spent quite a while here Mychele took some great shots in true colour and black and white...here are some of them...

The inside sleep 6 and it has a log fire, table and chairs all the comforts of home :)

 Guess where Steve is ????

The trees outside the cabin were beautiful Snow Gums, the markings were amazing...They made great props for some photos

 Steve's at it again

We headed back stopping off at a bridge where Mychele wanted to takes some pictures of the beautiful ferns and running water...

Finally back home and once again relaxing...even Sophie joined in ... this is the first time I have even seen her sit with someone...

Today's blog as been a challenge Mychele you took so many beautiful photos, it was very hard to choose which ones to add to the blog...Thanks Baby girl...
