Another " Sea Change"

John and I have been together 3 years next month and the amount of changes we have made in our lives since then is amazing...from changing caravans to changing cars to suit the caravans.. etc etc...But the biggest move of all I think was John choosing to sell his home and we hit the road in a Winnebago....

We have been on the road now for 15 months and loving every minute of it...

When we were in Camden last Christmas we met too new friends Michael and Lois who had a 5th Wheeler motor home..this was the first time John and I had ever been in side one of those..and we really liked it...but we had our lovely Winnebago and was very happy with what we had.... over the last few months we have been talking about the 5th Wheelers again.. and looking at them on line....but not thinking any more of it.

A couple of weeks ago... while at Camden someone knocked on our door, and was enquiring about the Winnebago as they were interested in buying one and wanted to have a look around ours and ask a few question etc....

I don't know how it all happened but we had an offer from them... too good to refuse... and yes we sold the Winnebago !!!!!!!!!!!

I know your all going to be reading this with your jaw dropped and mouth wide open.. and saying wow why would they do that !!!!

Well after many discussion's and research.. we decided we wanted to buy a NEW motorhome,  and we have decided to go for a 5th Wheeler this time....We have bought a Crossroad Cruiser 32 footer ( 10.4 metres long ) with 4 slide outs... and hard to believe... but it has more room in it than the Winnebago, lovely L shaped kitchen...larger bathroom ... and lots lots more... We are having it custom made in side to our specifications and John gets a brand new big truck to tow it ...and all this with a nice profit at the end of it...

The is the motorhome in the yard at Gympie being fitted out for us.
